Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Libronox respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Account details — your email and display name (via Firebase Authentication, including Google sign-in if you choose it).
- Usage & billing — your plan, generations used, and a Stripe customer reference. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
- Listening signals — anonymous, in-app playback events (play, pause, complete, drop) used to decide which version of an episode plays best. These are tied to a session, not sold or shared.
- Content you generate — topics and steering you submit become part of the public commons (see the Terms).
How we use it
To run your account and quota, process payments, improve which episodes are recommended, keep the service secure, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties
We rely on a small set of processors: Google Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments), Google Cloud / Cloudflare (hosting and audio storage), and AI providers (Google Gemini for text, ElevenLabs for narration) which receive only the topic text needed to generate an episode — not your identity.
Retention & your rights
We keep account data while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us; note that public commons content may remain (it can be disassociated from your account on request). We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Libronox is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
